Default Displacement.. bugged?

Well yes it is..

ok i ran tests.. and yes it is bugged

but heres proof lol

ran my build to have a level 8 sprit, with 3 spawning power to get ~227 health

normally it would take 6 evasions for it to die, if it is taking 45 each time, which it should.

If bugged it should take only four.

Low and behold i went to test it and it took 4 swings and that spirit died.

anyway heres the formula i used for the health so it would work out

70+((spirit level-1)*20)*(1+ spawning level*.04)

so 70+((8-1)*20)*(1+3*.04)

and do the rest on a calculator to get rid of any possible human error and you get

226.8
health

You should let someone take swings at you, not at the spirit.

It's been tested and confirmed (by me, lol) that Displacement ALWAYS takes 60 dmg, regardless of your level in Communing, which makes the Skill Description say that it takes less dmg.

Makkert is aware if this and will include it in his guide - Connecting with the Spirit World.

Methinks that Anet will fix this at some point though.

How is Spirit Light Weapon bugged? As far as I know, It just sucks real bad, and seems to function just like it's supposed to.

QFT.

Now, if you believe that the description is a misprint and it should really say: "For 10 seconds, target ally gains 3...13 Health each second. At the end of 10 seconds, Spirit Light Weapon is renewed for 10 additional seconds if that ally is near a Spirit."

Then yes, I would consider it bugged because it works the exact opposite to that.
